Climbing Tips For Those Who Are Good For Climbing Walls

Generally for those who are good for climbing walls, I answer the question so that the answer can satisfy just about everyone. Only beginners climbing often do not recognize it halfway. So, here I am doing a new article shorter, but only for novices climbing with advice dedicated to them.

Me too, I was new to climbing. But as this is not my case, so I allow myself to make some jokes.

But in all honesty, sometimes I envy your position. It’s was so nice to see myself progress week after week. Me who fights me today, for months, to take a half-letter of the higher level! By the way, now that I think about it. I give you some advice: do not try to become better faster!

Yes, golf is even more depressing than climbing! These tips will be useful for those who are good at climbing walls.

1- Stop Trying Too Hard! For Those Who Are Good For Climbing Walls

Stop spending all your time and energy getting into lanes or blocks where you’ll be ridiculous, just because it’s a level above yours mates!

So, if I were you (thank god that’s not the case!), Here’s how I would organize my time in the hall until I can easily and easily climb 6a / b + without jumping, moaning, whine, cry or shake your feet like an idiot …

2- Warm-Up For Those Who Are Good For Climbing Walls

Warm-up a good hour on easy lanes. Do them perfectly and gently.

Editor’s note: Kris does not develop this point in the article … Which means that there is no need to justify it. It is not worthwhile, for example, to remember that climbing without warming up is the No.1 mistake of beginners, the No.1 cause of injury, the No.1 cause of bottles, the cause # 1 in Counter-Performance and Frustration, etc.

3- Stop Moving Your Feet For Those Who Are Good For Climbing Walls

DO NOT readjust your feet after diverting your eyes from them. Do not blindly look for the best part of a kick. NEVER!

That’s right, you make a point … Chris Sharma sometimes barely uses his feet. But that’s because he can! And when he uses his feet, you will never see him readjusting them blind.

4- Try More Than Once

Do 3 or 4 trials on the same track or spend 45 minutes to 1 hour on block issues that are just above your max level. These blocks must be chained in a maximum of 5 or 6 tries … Once out, make sure to chain them regularly. Becoming better is no coincidence … So do not be afraid to ruin the pleasure of having released a block or a hard way! After a while, your exploits will become warm-up tracks. And that’s good!

5- Build Solid Technical Foundations

Climb into every corner of your room. Volumes, scrapes, flat areas, bins, strips …

If you make the block, make all lanes that are below your level. Again, do it perfectly. Not by going in force.

Endurance and know-how! All these movements must become automatic so that they come out when you need them! Your technical background will never be too full.

6- The Trick To Go Climbing

If you are stuck between two levels (for example, you can easily do 5c +, but not 6a), then you can make your tracks and your blocks more complicated.

You can, for example, skipjacks while making them as linearly and perfectly as possible. This will help you become strong enough to at least start a project on the next level.
